Thomas Flinn & Co. is the oldest remaining traditional saw maker in Sheffield, England, producing an extensive range of saws under famous brands such as Lynx and Pax. This saw is made from renowned Sheffield alloy spring steel. The blade is taper-ground meaning that it becomes progressively thinner from the teeth to the back of the saw. This greatly reduces binding during the cut. It comes with a handle made from stained European Beech and has brass button screws. The handle is attractive and comfortable in use. The 26″ long blade has 8 Teeth Per Inch and is filed for cross cutting. This saw can be re-sharpened. Made in Sheffield, England.
